Quick answers

What actually is an apostille?

The official certificate the UK government attaches to your document so authorities abroad accept it. Nearly 130 countries recognise it under the Hague Convention.

How long will mine take?

Most paper orders are back within 5 working days of reaching us, express in about 2–3. We count from the day your originals arrive, because we can't control the post on the way in.

Why not just use gov.uk directly?

You can. The public postal route takes up to 25 working days. We're registered for the next-day business service, handle the forms and the queue, and keep you updated at every step.

Do you need my original document?

For a paper apostille, yes — the FCDO stamps the original with the ink signature or seal. You'll get a cover sheet and an address as soon as you've paid. e-Apostilles are digital end to end.

Is my document safe?

Uploads are encrypted and stay in the UK. Scans are deleted about 30 days after your order completes, and originals come back by tracked post — included with every order.

What if the FCDO rejects it?

If our pre-check passed it and the FCDO still can't issue an apostille, you choose a full refund or a free resubmission. We'll tell you what happened in plain English either way.
